Sizes and Conditions

Old Era values transparency, and we want to ensure that all of our customers are fully informed about the sizes and condition of the garments we offer. Please read the information below carefully to better understand how we categorize and measure our vintage clothing.

Part Sizes
Vintage clothing sizes can vary significantly from modern sizes. To help you choose the correct size, we measure each item individually. We may find that items have lost their size tags or have shrunk/stretched over the years, no longer matching the size indicated on the tag. To address this, our team measures each item and assigns a size.

Condition of Parts
At Old Era, we understand the importance of quality and transparency. We work with trusted suppliers, but we do not have full control over every part we receive. That’s why we classify our parts into two categories:

  • Grade A: High-quality pieces, in excellent condition. These are sold individually on our website, Mystery Boxes, and Resell Boxes.
  • Grade B: Items that may show signs of use, such as fading or minor defects. These items are only included in our Resell Boxes.

Each item is carefully washed, ironed, and treated to remove as many stains as possible and ensure it reaches you in the best condition.

Cleaning and Preparation Procedures
To ensure that all our parts are in ideal condition for immediate use:

  • All items are professionally washed.
  • We carry out a rigorous quality control process to verify the integrity of each piece.
  • We remove stains whenever possible and treat the garments to prevent any odor or discomfort.

Mystery Boxes
When you purchase one of our Surprise Boxes, items are selected at random and include only Grade A pieces. Due to the surprise nature of the selection, we do not accept returns or exchanges for these boxes.

Resell Boxes
When you purchase one of our Resell Boxes, items are selected at random and include both Grade A and Grade B pieces. Due to the random nature of the selection, we do not accept returns or exchanges for these boxes.
