Sizes and Conditions

At Old Era, we value transparency and want to ensure that all our customers are fully informed about the sizes and conditions of the pieces we offer. Please read the information below carefully to better understand how we categorize and measure our vintage clothing.

Clothing Sizes

Vintage clothing sizes can vary significantly compared to modern sizes. To assist in choosing the correct size, we measure each piece individually. We may find that some pieces have lost their size label or have shrunk/stretched over the years, no longer matching the size indicated on the label. To address this, our team measures each piece and assigns a size.

Condition of the Pieces

At Old Era, we understand the importance of quality and transparency. We work with trusted suppliers, but we do not have full control over every piece we receive. Therefore, we classify our items into two categories:

  • Grade A: High-quality pieces in excellent condition. These are sold individually on our website, Mystery Boxes, and Resell Boxes.
  • Grade B: Pieces that may show signs of use, such as fading or small defects. These items are only included in our Resell Boxes. Each piece is carefully washed, ironed, and treated to remove as many stains as possible, ensuring that it reaches you in the best condition.

Cleaning and Preparation Procedures

To ensure all our pieces are in ideal condition for immediate use:

  • All pieces are professionally washed.
  • We conduct a thorough quality control process to check the integrity of each item.
  • We remove stains whenever possible and treat the pieces to prevent any odor or discomfort.

Mystery Boxes

When purchasing one of our Mystery Boxes, the items are selected randomly and only include Grade A pieces. Due to the surprise nature of the selection, we do not accept returns or exchanges for these boxes.

Resell Boxes

When purchasing one of our Resell Boxes, the items are selected randomly and include both Grade A and Grade B pieces. Due to the random selection nature, we do not accept returns or exchanges for these boxes.
